Her mother, anassistant principal at a school in Long Island, believes that plasticsurgery could be a solution to her bullying problems. You can read thestory here.
According to the American Society forAesthetic Plastic Surgery (of which I am a member), the number of childrenand teens having cosmetic plastic surgery has increased 30% over the pastdecade, a startling and disturbing trend.
So what do I think about plastic surgery as an answer to bullying? Ihave a lot of thoughts on this, and plan to share them in a special segment onFox and Friends this Saturday, April 9th at approximately 7:20am EDT. I will be discussing this issue with one of thetop plastic surgeons in New York. I hope you get to tune in!
